When we had an opportunity to take a cruise on a Duffy Electric Boat, we were impressed by the quiet, relaxing ride and ease of operation it provided. We found that you could, quite literally, "unplug, untie and unwind". One thing lead to another, and we acquired a Duffy for our family's use. Our children and grandchildren love being out on the water and a Duffy is the ideal boat for family outings.

We became such strong advocates of the pleasure of electric boating, that in 2002 we approached Duffy about becoming dealers for Duffy Electric Boats. Eastern Shore Electric Boats now has boat owners on tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and Virginia, and in New Hampshire on Lake Sunapee and Lake Winnipesaukee.
